SpaceX Bitcoin Activity Surges: $31 Million Moved in 10 Days
SpaceX has recently moved 281 BTC, worth approximately $31.28 million, to a new wallet, marking its third significant Bitcoin transfer in just 10 days. Blockchain analytics firm Lookonchain confirmed the latest transaction, highlighting the company’s pattern of frequent asset movement.
Previously, on October 21, 2025, SpaceX shifted 2,495 BTC (around $257 million), as tracked by Arkham, indicating ongoing on-chain reorganization. While many assume these transfers are for custodial or security purposes, industry observers suggest they may hint at broader strategic changes in the company’s digital asset management.
Market Speculation: Strategic Positioning or Liquidation?
The high transfer frequency has sparked debate among crypto enthusiasts and analysts. One user commented, “3 transfers in 10 days isn’t ‘custody.’ It’s positioning before a major policy shift.” Some voices, including BlockTempo, speculate that SpaceX may be preparing for partial liquidations or other strategic maneuvers, although the company has not released any official statements.
As of now, SpaceX’s Bitcoin portfolio is valued at around $790.95 million, comprising 7,258 BTC tokens. Meanwhile, Tesla, another Elon Musk-led company, holds 11,509 BTC, worth roughly $1.25 billion, bringing the combined holdings of the two firms to over $2 billion in Bitcoin. Despite market downturns, they remain among the largest institutional Bitcoin holders globally.

Elon Musk Reaffirms Commitment to Bitcoin
These developments follow Musk’s recent endorsement of Bitcoin over fiat, positioning it as the “future of money.” He emphasized Bitcoin’s energy-backed pedigree and consistency as advantages over traditional government-issued currency, which is more susceptible to manipulation.
With ongoing transactions from SpaceX and Tesla, the market is closely watching for further Bitcoin activity and any official statements from Musk in the coming weeks.
