Stressing the extremely strong entrance CoinTR has made into the Turkish market, Rabbitcoinhole asked Eşelioğlu for the secret behind this success. Eşelioğlu responded:
“Our entry into this sector was a well-considered, measured decision. I have been in this industry for nearly two years now, but prior to this, I served as the Deputy Executive Director at the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye. We entered the sector with a solid understanding of Turkey’s position and the existing regulatory landscape. We are moving forward cautiously, yet we firmly believe in the sector’s potential. We avoid encouraging reckless enthusiasm or misleading people with improper guidance. Our goals, however, are aggressive; we aimed to become one of the top three players in Turkey, and fortunately, the steps we’ve taken have yielded the desired results.”
Highlighting the platform’s exponential growth in user numbers, Eşelioğlu emphasized the significance of the advertising campaign featuring Arda Güler. Eşelioğlu stated that the collaboration with Güler is part of a broader, long-term strategy, declaring, “We are embarking on a long journey.”
Rabbitcoinhole then asked why users should choose CoinTR over its competitors. Stressing that the platform has both local and international rivals, Eşelioğlu elaborated:
“Recently, we have accelerated our marketing efforts. This is driven by our target of achieving a top-three ranking. We aim to be one of the first exchanges to receive a license by conducting all our operations flawlessly and in full compliance with regulations. This requires a lot of hard work. We are seeing the returns: our ascent into the top three within a roughly two-year period is the fruit of that labor.”
