Financial data analytic firm Messari informs that blockchain platform Tron Network generated $47.9 million income in the fourth quarter of 2022. This amount is 25% more than the company generated the previous quarter. Apart of that the firm saw a significant increase in daily active addresses and daily transactions.
Tron Network Produced $48 Million Income in Q4 2022
Earlier Messari explained the “rollercoaster” year in the cryptocurrency market which took place in 2022. Firstly, adverse macroeconomic circumstances had consequences, and then, in the spring, Terra collapsed, worsening the situation. A market collapse and industry image were also damaged by the demise of once-prominent FTX, adding to the turmoil.
A Successful Year despite Difficulties
Despite all that turmoil in the fourth quarter, Tron still had a very successful year. During 2022, the company under the leadership of Justin Sun generated approximately $48 million in revenue, up 25% from Q3 numbers. And the second quarter of 2022 with a net income of $48.5 million is still the most successful.
Statistics
Growth in the number of users and the network activity on the Tron network was simply undeniable. According to the statistics, daily active addresses increased from 2.6 million in Q3 to 3.1 million in Q4, and the number of daily transactions hit 6.5 million compared to 5.3M during Q3. The average number of trades per second increased from 62 to 76, although the average cost per trade stayed at $0.08. In addittion, the platform integrated various modifications in order to increase its functionality an efficiency. For example, it collaborated with the DeFi, GameFi, and NFT industries.
