XRP Surges – Is XRP the Next Big ETF Play? Traders Are Betting Big
XRP Surges – XRP has emerged as a standout performer in the current cryptocurrency market, leading short-term capital rotation ahead of major altcoins like Solana (SOL). According to new data from blockchain analytics firm Glassnode, XRP’s 30-day realized capitalization has surged +4.2%, while Solana trails with a +1% increase.
Capital Flows Shift Toward XRP
Realized capitalization measures the value of coins based on their last on-chain transaction price, making it a more accurate gauge of active capital compared to traditional market cap. Glassnode analysts highlighted this trend, stating:
“Capital is rotating faster into #XRP, hinting at stronger short-term conviction.”
This uptick suggests that market participants are showing renewed confidence in XRP, moving capital into the asset at a faster pace than its peers.
XRP Gains Momentum Amid ETF Speculation
After a relatively flat April for both XRP and SOL, a shift began in late April. Initially, Solana led with modest realized cap growth, but XRP quickly overtook it by early June, accelerating in momentum while SOL began to pull back.
This renewed interest in XRP is believed to be driven by speculation around a potential XRP spot ETF, with reports pointing to rising interest from major Wall Street firms. Additionally, XRP’s role in cross-border payments and adoption as a corporate treasury asset may be reinforcing bullish sentiment.
Analysts Predict Possible Long-Term Breakout
Crypto analyst EGRAG CRYPTO recently shared scenarios projecting XRP’s price could reach $25, citing a multi-year ‘W’ pattern and historical fractals resembling the 2017 bull run. XRP continues to hold key support zones, potentially setting the stage for another accumulation phase.
