Tech Force positions pay between $150,000 and $200,000 a year. Federal benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and performance-based rewards, are also provided to participants. Participants may move into positions with partner firms in the private sector when the two-year term is up. As an alternative, people can use the experience to further their careers elsewhere or stay in federal service. On a rolling basis, applications are accepted. While some posts are available at various agency locations across the nation, the majority of employees are headquartered in Washington, D.C.
