Utilizing Sapphire’s cutting-edge privacy features is at the core of the Oasis Grant for Crust. The complexity and ease of Crust’s objective to develop the most confidential on-chain data management in the market are elevated by building in Sapphire’s EVM-competitive environment.

We’re excited to receive support from the Oasis ecosystem as we build a better, safer data storage infrastructure for Web3. Protocols like Sapphire are integral to realizing smart privacy throughout crypto. Oasis and Crust share a vision for bringing better protection to on-chain data management for every user.

Leo Wang, Founder Of Crust Network

The Crust Network can enable Sapphire’s adjustable on-chain data storage visibility for all network transactions while ensuring that users and developers keep critical information hidden from anyone who doesn’t need to see it. For instance, while only the recipient can see the amount and asset type of a transfer, everyone in Web3 can see the date and time the transaction was carried out.

The Reason Behind Oasis’ Decision to Support Crust

Because of its dedication to becoming a pioneer in creating infrastructure that focuses on privacy for a safer Web3 economy, the Oasis Grants team decided to sponsor the Crust Network. Initiated on July 25, the $10,000 grant allows Crust to carry out their plans for secure on-chain data management while incorporating the Sapphire runtime.

The main objective of the Oasis Grants Program is to support visionary initiatives to define the future of Web3 privacy. The impressive skill and success exhibited by the Crust team have filled us with confidence as we embark on a partnership to develop intelligent privacy solutions that ensure steadfast data stewardship throughout Web3. Sapphire stands as a pivotal cornerstone in our collective pursuit of this ambitious objective.
