Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced a collaboration with Avalanche blockchain, supported by Ava Labs, to contribute to the adaptability and growth of blockchain technology. Both companies in question announced this partnership simultaneously on January 11, 2023. This partnership is made in a mutually beneficial manner based on the foundation that blockchain accelerates adoption by businesses, institutions and governments.
The Decision of The Two Market Giants
Day by day, the transition of Web2 companies to the Web3 world is progressing towards a necessary situation. The two market giants decided to act together to offer transparent, reliable and fast products and services.
Howard Wright, VP and global head of startups, AWS states: “No one can call the time or date or quarter that it’s going to happen and it’ll be mainstream, but we’ve seen the cycles of growth before.”
According to Gartner (technological research and consulting firm), the value of blockchain-based business will increase to $ 176 billion within two years and will rise to $ 3.1 trillion by 2030.
Scope of Partnership
The AWS – Avalanche partnership aims to facilitate node management for developers, in addition to providing services to government and private institutions. As part of this collaboration, Avalanche will use Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) to increase the speed of the transaction and verification process.
Emin Gün Sirer, CEO and Co-founder of Ava Labs, states: “It has been a huge, huge boon to all of our developers to be able to spin up nodes on the fly, spin up test networks on the fly, using AWS.”
Avalanche’s participation in AWS Activate will improve the quality of use of the 500 applications created in the Layer1 chain. In the future, Ava Labs will include Subnet deployment in Amazon’s Market.
