MoonPay and Trust Wallet Join Forces to Expand Global Crypto Access
MoonPay’s on-ramp and off-ramp services will be powered by a multi-year strategic agreement with Trust Wallet, a self-custody cryptocurrency wallet with over 200 million customers. The agreement will make MoonPay the default supplier for Trust Wallet’s “Buy Crypto” feature for the next two years, beginning with U.S. clients, according to an official release made on August 14. The partnership strengthens a partnership that started in 2020 when MoonPay’s on-ramp solution was initially integrated into Trust Wallet. Early in 2023, off-ramp capabilities were implemented.

The new deal, according to both businesses, intends to increase worldwide access to cryptocurrency and reduce user friction. The infrastructure of MoonPay accepts fiat currencies and a variety of local payment methods in more than 190 countries. The connection will simplify the process for millions of Trust Wallet users by delivering in-app checkout for cryptocurrency purchases and sales.

MoonPay Expands Crypto Empire with Trust Wallet Deal and Mastercard Partnership
The Trust Wallet agreement comes after MoonPay has achieved several recent milestones. Earlier this year, the company obtained a New York BitLicense to operate in all 50 U.S. states and teamed up with Mastercard to introduce stablecoin-powered payment cards. As the sole crypto-native company, it was also included in CNBC’s 2025 Disruptor 50 list.
Additionally, MoonPay signed a deal to power all ramps for the future Rumble Wallet and extended wallet integrations, including support for TRON’s TRX and Tether. Over the course of the relationship, it is anticipated that the Trust Wallet integration would be extended to other markets. It is now operational for customers in the United States.
