Brad Garlinghouse– Ripple’s CEO Brad Garlinghouse proudly shared major news with the XRP community on X (formerly Twitter), announcing that Ripple’s new stablecoin — RLUSD — has been ranked the most trusted in the market.
According to Garlinghouse, the Bluechip Stablecoin Agency has officially given RLUSD an “A” rating. The announcement came just after the U.S. passed the long-awaited Genius Act, a bill aimed at regulating stablecoin issuance and circulation in the country. Bluechip praised RLUSD for its transparency, security, and reliability — calling it “the #1 most trusted stablecoin” currently available.
Ripple Mints 25 Million RLUSD as Demand Grows
Ripple continues to expand the RLUSD supply to meet growing demand. On July 23, the company minted 25 million RLUSD after a four-day pause. Prior mintings occurred on July 18 and 21, with 5 million RLUSD each day. All stablecoins were issued directly from the Ripple Treasury, reflecting strategic scaling in line with the company’s rollout plan.
Garlinghouse Issues Scam Alert to XRP Community
In a separate message, Garlinghouse took to social media to warn XRP holders about a new wave of scams circulating on YouTube. These scams are impersonating Ripple’s official account and targeting XRP investors during a time of increased market activity.
“With Bitcoin surging and XRP gaining momentum, scammers are more active than ever,” Garlinghouse warned. He urged users to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity:
“We will keep reporting these — please do the same.”
