Plume Partners with Octane to Bring AI-Powered Security to Blockchain Ecosystem
Plume, the first permissionless, open blockchain built for RWA finance, has teamed up with AI-powered security platform Octane to integrate automated, real-time vulnerability scanning directly into its ecosystem. The collaboration aims to deliver institutional-grade security, providing developers and enterprises with the confidence to build on Plume’s blockchain.
Automated Security for Developers
Octane’s platform, which has already scanned over 86 million lines of code and safeguarded more than $6 billion in on-chain assets, will now be embedded into Plume developers’ CI/CD pipelines. This integration enables automated security scans at every code commit, offering recommended fixes in real time. Developers can identify vulnerabilities without slowing down development, streamlining both innovation and safety.
Early Findings Showcase Effectiveness
Initial scans of major Plume protocols and core contracts have already produced significant results. Octane analyzed more than 66,000 lines of code, uncovering 192 findings. This included three separate scans of core Plume contracts, as well as ecosystem projects like Mystic, where a critical vulnerability was detected that could have led to potential loss of funds.
These early successes demonstrate the value of integrating AI-driven security into blockchain development, ensuring the ecosystem remains safe as institutional participation grows.
Institutional-Grade Security for Tokenized Finance
As more institutions enter the tokenized finance space, there is an increasing demand for SOC-level, enterprise-grade security standards similar to traditional finance. Teddy Pornprinya, CBO and Co-Founder of Plume, highlighted the partnership’s importance:
