New Listings Support Flock Hits All-Time High
New altcoins have been added to the trading platforms of Coinbase, the top cryptocurrency exchange in the US, and Upbit, a well-known exchange in South Korea. Both exchanges offer Flock (FLOCK) according to the listings, and Coinbase is also launching SPX6900 (SPX). These actions have caused notable price increases. Furthermore, during today’s early Asian trading hours, the former reached a fresh record high.
FLOCK and SPX6900 to Launch on Coinbase
Coinbase announced that it will feature both altcoins in an official X. On September 9, trading is expected to start at 9:00 AM Pacific Time (PT) or later. Only after a sufficient amount of tokens is available will the rollout begin.
Coinbase will add support for SPX6900 (SPX) on the Ethereum network (ERC-20 Token) and Flock (FLOCK) on the Base network. Do not send these assets over other networks or your funds may be lost,

Additionally, trading for the FLOCK-USD and SPX-USD pairings will be implemented gradually. The exchange also made it clear that certain jurisdictions will have limitations. Thus, the availability of these assets may differ by region.
FLOCK Price Spikes as Coinbase Effect Meets Upbit’s KRW Market Launch
FLOCK experienced a more noticeable increase after Coinbase’s statement. The altcoin’s 15.38% increase from $0.26 to $0.30 reflected early market fervor. These trends are consistent with the so-called “Coinbase Effect,” which states that listings on the platform frequently result in instant price increases because of their greater visibility and perceived legitimacy. Although Coinbase’s announcement led to slight increases, Upbit’s choice to include FLOCK in its Korean Won (KRW) market caused a much more intense response.
