Binance Labs announced the investment with a post on X.

At Binance Labs, we’re committed to supporting projects building critical infrastructure to propel the growth of Web3 applications. Delphinus Lab’s zkWASM implementation will welcome a new wave of Web2 developers onto the Web3 landscape. We look forward to witnessing Delphinus Lab lead the zkWASM narrative, and enabling widespread adoption of Web3 applications among developers and end users.

Yi He, Co-Founder of Binance and Head of Binance Labs

What is zkWASM?

Using their favorite programming language and zkWASM technology, developers may create zero-knowledge (ZK) apps and deploy them throughout environments that accept WebAssembly (WASM). A more trustworthy and decentralized digital environment is made possible by the advent of zero-knowledge-proof technology mixed with WASM, which improves the security and privacy of apps.

What will the Investment be Used for?

Binance Labs’ investment will help to continue the development of Delphinus Lab’s zkWASM-based application rollup platform, zkWASM Hub, which offers application workloads with customized WASM extensions automated proving and batching services. Through the platform’s auto compilation and updating service, developers can also deploy their GitHub applications into the zkWASM Hub.

Our zkWASM Hub introduces a streamlined multi-chain execution layer for developers to easily deploy and manage their WASM-backed apps in a dynamic rollup environment. Our goal is to enable next-generation Web3 DApps that leverage the robustness of Web2 while embracing the decentralized, trustless nature of Web3. We’re excited to partner with Binance Labs, a leading player, and anticipate the adoption of WASM-based applications.

Sinka Gao, Founder & CEO of Delphinus Lab.

About Delphinus Lab
