London, United Kingdom-based blockchain paying firm called Centbee has raised $1 million in pre-series A funding. Calvin Ayre, the owner of Ayre Ventures, led the funding round.

Co-CEOs Lorien Gamaroff and Angus Brown founded Centbee with its main office in London, UK, and additional locations in South Africa. Gamaroff is a well-known name in blockchain and cryptocurrency technology. He is known worldwide as an educator and presenter. In addition, he has provided consultancy and advice to regulators, companies, and other organizations.
Brown has 20 years of banking and payments expertise, including being the CEO of eBucks.com, the first-of-its-kind bank-backed virtual currency launched in 2000.
