The Team
In 2018, video game veteran Gabby Dizon started lending his Axies to other Axie Infinity gamers who couldn’t afford to buy their own. This is how Yield Guild Games came to be. By October 2020, it was evident how this was assisting Filipinos in earning money while doing something they enjoyed amid the pandemic.
This situation gave rise to the concept of establishing an international community of players and financiers who could support one another in starting NFT games. With the goal of bringing millions of people into the play-to-earn revolution, YGG was founded by Gabby, fintech entrepreneur Beryl Li and developer Owl of Moistness.
