Buterin Sells MANYU Tokens: Could MANYU Be the Next Shiba Inu?

Vitalik Buterin, a co-founder of Ethereum, sold several cryptocurrency assets he had obtained through unsolicited donations from investors and project owners yesterday. Notably, Buterin sold tokens like MANYU, a well-known meme coin. Less than two months had passed since he got the tokens in unsolicited donations from members of the MANYU community. Following Buterin’s recent sale of the token, many members of the MANU community are optimistic that it could duplicate Shiba Inu’s success.
The Story Behind SHIB’s Meteoric Rise
In the past, Ryoshi, the Shiba Inu‘s fictitious founder, gave Buterin half of the token’s 500 trillion SHIB supply. The donation was a component of a larger marketing campaign meant to get SHIB’s notice from investors. Buterin burned more than 410 trillion SHIB shortly after the contribution and gave the remainder to charities that aid in COVID-19 relief. Even while the transaction caused SHIB’s price to drop precipitously at first, it gradually rose again and hit an all-time high five months after Buterin sold the tokens.
After Buterin Sells, MANYU Shows Volatile Moves
At the moment, MANYU is trading at $0.00002133 per token, up 25.59% over the previous day. Since July 13, when it hit its recent peak of $0.0004813, MANYU has gone down 55.47%. To sum up, memes like Shiba Inu saw a sharp increase in value after Buterin sold them, but it’s unclear if MANYU will have the same kind of growth.
