The attacker took control of the admin proxy at address 0xx40e4ff9e018462ce71fa34abdfa27b8c5e2b1afb and redirected it to a malicious contract at 0xD4CA224a176A59ed1a346FA86C3e921e01659E73. This malicious contract compromised the proxy, which is essential for interacting with users and other contracts.

Confirmation and Affected Pools

Security firm Cyvers confirmed the exploit, noting multiple suspicious transactions involving DeltaPrime. They reported that it appeared the admin had lost the private key. The affected pools include #DPUSDC, #DPARB, and #DPBTCb, which are used for USDC stablecoins, Arbitrum’s ARB, and bitcoin (BTC) respectively.

DeltaPrime’s Response and Market Impact

DeltaPrime’s team is investigating the issue, but as of the European morning hours, they have not confirmed the exploit or provided detailed information. The breach has led to a 6.5% drop in DeltaPrime’s PRIME tokens over the past 24 hours, mirroring a broader market decline driven by ether (ETH).
