Elon Musk jokingly criticized ChatGPT, a text-based artificial intelligence (AI) platform, tweeting, “What we need is TruthGPT”. Following this tweet a project of the same name using the underlying technology of the cryptocurrency industry has appeared.
TruthGPT is Launched in Response to Elon Musk’s Tweet
Twitter page for ‘TruthGPT’ was launched on the same day and its first tweet quoted ELon Musk’s statement along with its contract address and links leading toward its Telegram channel and TruthGPT (TRUTH) token listing on crypto trading platform DEXtools.
TruthGPT’s Mission
The company explained on its Telegram channel that its mission was “to build the vision that Elon Musk has; an AI Chat Bot that is programmed to spread the honest truth of whatever it may be asked. Development has already been initiated, and soon TRUTH will not only be a powerful meme coin but a beacon of honesty and truth for the entire world to access.”
In several subsequent tweets, the platform also called on Musk to help with the mass adoption of TruthGPT and touted his role in free speech and artificial intelligence. Additionally, the TruthGPT team stated that their platform “is not subject to any form of censorship, manipulation or bias,” citing their bot critically answering a question about ChatGPT:
“It’s well-known that ChatGPT and OpenAI are politically biased and heavily controlled. Don’t be fooled – ТruthGPT is the only real alternative AI that offers unbiased and non-controlled data.”
The launch of ‘Truth Bot’ was successfully completed on Telegram on February 19. According to Etherscan data, there are already 682 holders of the TRUTH token on the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain, and the asset’s total supply is 5 trillion TRUTH.
