Chick-Fil-A, Toyota, Pfizer, and Samsung are among the top 100 brands venturing into the cryptocurrency space, defying the negative narratives surrounding digital assets. The Axios Harris Poll 100, a reputation ranking survey conducted by Axios and Harris Poll, sought to understand the public perception of prominent American brands. The results revealed that while crypto-native brands like FTX and Bitcoin received low rankings, other popular brands displayed a surprising openness to the digital asset industry.

Chick-Fil-A, a major fast food chain and ranked fifth on the list, has expressed interest in crypto-related initiatives. The company filed trademark applications indicating its intention to enter the NFT and metaverse realms. Toyota Motor Corporation, ranked sixth, acknowledged blockchain as a fundamental technology and established the Toyota Blockchain Lab in 2019. The automotive industry, including companies like BMW, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Subaru, and Jaguar, also explored opportunities in Web3, NFTs, blockchain, and digital wallets.

Kellogg Company, placed 26th on the poll, delved into Web3 gaming through their popular snack brand Pop Tarts. Pfizer, a pharmaceutical giant, ranked 50th and is involved in crypto-related endeavors. Its investment arm, Pfizer Ventures, participated in a funding round for VitaDAO, focusing on decentralized science. Pfizer also joined a working group in 2019 to research blockchain for supply chain management.

Leading tech companies have also been actively involved in crypto-related ventures. Sony, just outside the top 10 at 12th place, applied for an NFT-related patent, suggesting a potential foray into Web3 for PlayStation. Samsung, a top 10 brand, announced a Smart TV patent that enables users to purchase NFTs from home.
