Crypto News– Donald Trump recently reaffirmed his support for Bitcoin (BTC) during his address to over 3,000 attendees at the Bitcoin Conference on Saturday. Now, he’s taking that support a step further by selling themed footwear.

Trump Sneakers, a site owned by Trump that offers various themed products including shoes and perfumes, has just begun offering a range of limited-edition sneakers. Among these is a high-top Bitcoin-themed version, priced at $499 per pair, which is available for pre-order. The bright orange high-tops are especially popular, with only 1,000 pairs produced, all of which have already sold out.

The product description highlights the sneakers as a celebration of both the future of finance and Trump’s leadership, featuring a prominent Bitcoin symbol. They’re marketed as essential for both crypto enthusiasts and Trump supporters. In addition to the high-tops, there are 1,000 pairs of low-top sneakers available in both bright orange and black, priced at $299 each. Orange is a color often associated with Bitcoin support.

By Thursday morning, the high-top orange sneakers had completely sold out. Some pre-ordered pairs are already being resold on eBay for up to $2,500. Trump Sneakers is run by CIC Ventures LLC, a company Trump fully owns, according to his 2023 financial disclosure. The site clarifies that it operates independently of Trump’s political campaign and that the sneakers are not designed, sold, or manufactured by Trump or his associates.
