Crypto News – On March 1, Blast revealed via an X post that it would airdrop tokens following its mainnet debut.

The post states that half would be given to users and the other half would help dapps like Blast Gold. The total amount allotted for the airdrop is unknown. $2.3 billion in assets held in the protocol were made available for staking and airdrop rewards with the mainnet activation.

During our Early Access phase, 181,888 community members bridged $2.3b to Blast. These community members are earning $85 million per year in native yield + Blast Points.

Sushi Announces Partnership with Blast

Prior to the mainnet launch, more than 3,000 teams started working on Blast at the same time. Using Blast’s exclusive primitives for gas mining and delivery, developers have produced dapps that are exclusive to Blast, according to the Blast team.

The Sushi decentralized exchange team announced a relationship with Blast just prior to launch. Although the specifics of the partnership are undisclosed, users believe the platform will incorporate the Blast solution into its features.
