Astrobotic, initially funded by the Dogecoin community in 2015, received a collection of “Physical Dogecoins.” As a reciprocal gesture, Astrobotic included Dogecoin in its 2021 moon mission, ensuring its safe landing on the lunar surface.
This claim caught the interest of the space technology firm, leading them to share a post in 2021 highlighting the discovery of Dogecoins during the integration of MoonBoxes with the Peregrine lunar lander.
