Ethermon

Ethermon is a blockchain game ecosystem that emerged with the aim of unlocking the full potential of NFTs.

Overview

Launched in 2017, Ethermon universe   is one of the first blockchain games to run on Ethereum using functional NFTs. Players earn rewards by collecting, playing and competing with Ethermon Monsters (or Mons for short) in the game modes located in this universe.

Gameplay

The universe revolves around Ether monsters, which are stored on the blockchain and are necessary for the game. In the ecosystem, where there are over 100,000 monsters, players can buy these monsters directly from Ethermon’s official store or buy them from other players on secondary markets. In addition, players can also obtain Mons by playing the free version of the game. This is part of the play-to-win feature of the game. 

Ethermon consists of over 50 adventure sites. These adventure sites are divided into shares, and the person who makes the highest bid can obtain ownership of the adventure site. The people who own these sites receive 90% of the revenues, also known as adventure fees, while 10% is allocated by Ethermon for the development of the ecosystem. 

In the adventure mode in the game, players send mons to discover the site that they have sent for a fee. They can earn a buff item, a wild Mon, or in-game currency, which varies according to the type and characteristics of the Mons they sent. 

PvP Tournaments, on the other hand, are a game mode in which players compete with opposing players along with their own Mons teams. PvP tournaments are divided into various levels and players can participate in these tournaments for free. 

As we have said in the previous sections of our article, platform was launched in the year 2017 and underwent a significant revision in 2019. After this overhaul, this game has become a player-owned virtual world where players can explore Decentraland (DCL). 

Tokenomics 

The native token of the ecosystem is $EMON. The $EMON token is based on ERC-20 standards and has a total supply of 400 million. The distribution of the $EMON token is indicated in the table below.

Ethermon’s economic model free to play is designed in such a way that users can achieve the same goals.

Road Map

Since the Ethermon project is one of the first blockchain games in the Ethereum chain, it would be more accurate to examine the roadmap of the Ethermon Meta Universe, which it has already developed and is still developing, rather than the roadmap from the beginning to the end of the project. 

The roadmap of the Ethermon Meta Universe appears as follows, divided into three parts. These three phases are 2022Q1 – 2022 Q2 – 2022 Q3. The details of these three step-by-step roadmaps are indicated in the tables below.

2022 Q1

• Ethermon District Plaza where you can hang out with friends and explore the buildings making up the foundation of our District’s P2E ecosystem, now in active development.
• Battle Biome 1: Forest theme, where you can battle PvE enemies for loot drops.
• Custom Player House with unlockable features and upgradable content.
• 60+ Mons that are modeled, animated, and fully functional in DCL — on both Ethereum and Polygon.
