ANIME Token Airdrop and Official Listing Set for January 23, 2025

The much-anticipated ANIME token, backed by Azuki, will be officially listed and debut on Binance on January 23, 2025, at 14:00 UTC. Ahead of its launch, Binance users subscribed to BNB Simple Earn products between January 17 and January 20 will receive an airdrop of ANIME tokens.

Animecoin: A New Era in Anime and Blockchain

ANIME, also known as Animecoin, is the native token of the Animecoin Foundation, supported by the Arbitrum Foundation and the prominent NFT brand Azuki. Often referred to as the “culture coin of the anime industry,” Animecoin aims to merge original intellectual properties (IP), mainstream content distribution, and blockchain-based infrastructure. This integration is designed to empower the anime community to expand its reach and influence globally.

In a recent post on X, the Animecoin community shared their vision:

“The Animecoin ecosystem will provide a collaborative environment to democratize content creation. The Azuki IP will be the first of many native anime IPs providing the cultural energy that drives engagement across the blockchain-powered anime network.”

Token Launch Details

Animecoin will officially launch on January 23, 2025, with listings on multiple major exchanges, including Binance, Bybit, and OKX. Binance will support trading pairs for ANIME with USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY. However, as a newly launched token, ANIME will initially carry the “seed tag” on Binance.

The Animecoin foundation has allocated 500 million ANIME tokens—5% of the maximum supply—for the Binance HODLer Airdrop. With a total supply of 10 billion tokens, Animecoin has an initial circulating supply of 7.69 billion ANIME. Notably, 50.5% of the tokens are allocated to the community, with over 20% reserved for the team, advisors, and the company.

A Collaborative Future for Anime Fans

Animecoin will launch on both the Ethereum and Arbitrum networks. Its ecosystem promises to bring anime enthusiasts into a collaborative space where content creation is democratized. The first platform to be hosted on the Animecoin network will be Anime.com, a hub for anime-related content, games, merchandise, and NFTs.

The ANIME token will also serve as a gas and governance token for Animechain, a web3 anime network slated to go live in Q1 2025. This blockchain-powered network will feature original and third-party anime IPs, further expanding the ecosystem’s reach into games, NFTs, and physical merchandise.

With its bold vision and strong community backing, the ANIME token aims to bridge the worlds of anime and blockchain, empowering creators and fans alike.
