Hyperliquid Whale- Bitcoin Eyes $110K After Diplomatic Boost
Hyperliquid Whale– Bitcoin surged to $108,000 on June 9, coinciding with a high-stakes leveraged trade by a newly created crypto wallet. The wallet, labeled “0x1f25,” opened a $54.5 million long position on BTC using 20x leverage, making it one of the boldest trades of 2025 so far.

New Wallet Takes $54M Long on BTC
Wallet “0x1f25” was created earlier the same day and funded with $10 million in USDC. The anonymous trader used cross-margin leverage to open a 511.5 BTC position on decentralized exchange Hyperliquid, with an entry price of $106,538 and a liquidation level of $88,141. The trade is already showing an unrealized profit of over $11,000, signaling precise timing amid rising market momentum.
Some market observers suspect that the trader could be James Wynn, a well-known Hyperliquid whale who recently lost nearly $125 million in two major liquidations in late May and early June. Despite these losses, Wynn has continued to place aggressive trades—consistent with the behavior of wallet “0x1f25.”

US-China Trade Talks Boost Risk Sentiment
Bitcoin’s rally aligns with improving global sentiment. US-China trade talks began in London on June 9, with early reports indicating a potential easing of tech export restrictions in return for greater access to China’s rare earth materials. These developments have also lifted US equities, with the S&P 500 gaining on similar optimism.

Analysts Expect New Bitcoin Highs
Analyst Ted Pillows said BTC could retest or break its all-time high near $110,000 within one to two weeks. “Bitcoin is mimicking gold and the S&P 500 in how it approaches major resistance,” he explained, pointing to strong breakout patterns across markets.
