Zilliqa Group and Google Cloud Announce Collaboration to Develop Web3 Initiatives and Blockchain Infrastructure
Initiatives within the Zilliqa Group and the wider ecosystem stand to benefit from a more robust platform supporting the diversity of Web3 services and decentralized applications (dApps) built on the Zilliqa blockchain with Google Cloud‘s participation. There will be a total of 28 staked seed node (SSN) operators on the Zilliqa network after the arrival of Google Cloud.

Which Services Will Google Cloud Provide as Part of the Collaboration?
With Google Cloud serving as an SSN operator, more users will be able to take part in the decentralization, securitization, and administration of the network while also receiving hosting services for node infrastructure. Zilliqa Group will leverage Google Cloud’s open, secure, scalable, and energy-efficient infrastructure and services to improve the adaptability, robustness, and data accessibility of its blockchain after also selecting Google Cloud as its strategic cloud provider.
Google Cloud is focused on providing the foundational technology on which developers can build innovative blockchain-based products and services that will help grow the Web3 ecosystem. With this in mind, our engineering work with Zilliqa Group will be centered around improving the scalability and resilience of the base layer to better support novel scaling solutions like sharding, as well as enhancing the availability of blockchain datasets for public inspection and analysis.
