Xumm Wallet Active Users Surge 21% Amid XRP Rally
The Xumm wallet, a prominent self-custody wallet built for the XRP Ledger (XRPL), recently experienced a significant surge in usage as its unique daily active users surged to 34,480 for the first time since January. Wietse Wind, developer of Xumm and founder of XRPL Labs, recently drew public attention to his positive development by sharing a graphical sensor showing changes in daily active users. This image shows a 21% increase in his daily unique active users.
This development comes nine days after XRPL Labs released its first major update to the Xumm wallet in seven months. According to previous reports, this update brings significant improvements to NFT functionality, security, and cross-currency transactions.
Connection with XRP Price
It’s no coincidence that Xumm’s active users increased as the price action of XRP increased significantly. As Wind announced in another tweet, the rise in the price of XRP has always resulted in an increase in the number of unique daily active users of the Xumm wallet.
