Game Developer Delabs Games Raises $4.7 Million in Funding Round Led by Hashed Ventures
The Rumble Racing Star testing session for invite-only participants was followed by news of the funding round. The interstellar survival game Space Frontier and the cartoonish post-apocalyptic survival game Meta Bolts are both under development by Delabs.
The three games’ development, as well as marketing and community outreach projects, will all be supported with the funds generated. On Polygon, an Ethereum scaling network, Delabs Games focuses on creating games.
Today’s investment news is an important acknowledgment that Web3 technology is not only here to stay, but poised to revolutionize the gaming industry by empowering players with true digital ownership and control over their in-game assets,
Joonmo Kwon, Delabs Games CEO
While Space Frontier and Meta Bolts have no specific release dates as of yet, Rumble Racing Star will be available later this year. The increasing library of Delabs titles includes access to Rumble Racing Star as well as exclusive in-game goodies. Delabs Games previously published an Adventure Pass NFT on Ethereum.
