Eyeball Games Raises $1.5 Million in Pre-Seed Funding for its Upcoming Mobile Game, Eyeball Pool

Eyeball Games has secured an impressive $1.5 million in pre-seed funding to fuel the development of their highly-anticipated mobile game, Eyeball Pool.

The Singapore-based company proudly announced that White Star Capital led the funding round, with investments from its Ubisoft-backed Digital Asset Fund, as well as Polygon Ventures, Immutable, Ocular, Great South Gate Ventures, and a group of prominent angel investors.

Eyeball Pool is set to revolutionize the pool game experience, integrating cutting-edge Web3 elements to elevate user engagement, including granting players complete ownership of in-game assets. Developed by the masterminds behind the immensely popular 8 Ball Pool, which boasts an astonishing one billion downloads on mobile devices, Eyeball Pool promises to take the gaming world by storm.

The game’s release strategy involves a phased approach, commencing with a closed beta test exclusive to holders of the game’s non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the web. The full-fledged mobile launch is scheduled for the first quarter of 2024, at which point the NFTs will convert into valuable game starter packs containing exclusive and unique items.

To enhance the project’s prospects, Eyeball Pool will initially launch on the Polygon x Immutable zkEVM chain—a purpose-built platform tailored for gaming, where it will take the spotlight as one of the flagship projects. Notably, the game’s earlier Balldroids NFT collection witnessed tremendous success, selling out all 4,001 genesis NFTs in just 30 minutes during January 2023. Fortunately, those who missed out will have another opportunity as a whitelist for the expanded NFT series will soon be available.

United by a vision to introduce a blockchain-based challenger to 8 Ball Pool, they aim to empower gamers with complete ownership of their in-game assets, delivering a truly cutting-edge gameplay experience.

With aspirations to replicate the resounding success achieved a decade ago with pool games, Eyeball Games has painstakingly designed Eyeball Pool from the ground up, boasting its own physics engine and top-notch graphics.
