Solana Labs has created an open-source plugin that allows for the integration of OpenAI’s ChatGPT chatbot with the Ethereum scaling network, enabling users to access Solana-focused data directly from ChatGPT.
The plugin’s source code has been released on GitHub for developers to test and contribute to, but it is not yet available to all users. With this plugin, users can retrieve data on account balances, NFT IDs, and NFTs held on specific Solana addresses, as well as transfer crypto tokens and purchase NFTs through the chatbot.
The integration of blockchain and AI is a top priority in the tech industry, and several crypto entities are embracing this trend, including Binance and FalconX, which have launched AI-powered crypto bots. Solana Foundation has also allocated a $1 million fund to support the development of projects that combine blockchain and AI.
