Ripple CEO Eyes Major XRP ETF Launch: Garlinghouse Expects ETF and White House Inclusion by 2025

Brad Garlinghouse, the CEO of Ripple, believes that the White House’s proposed digital asset stockpile should include the similarly related cryptocurrency XRP. According to a Bloomberg Markets interview, he expects an XRP ETF will be introduced by the end of 2025. Following the conclusion of Ripple’s protracted legal dispute with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which saw the agency withdraw its complaint against the business on Wednesday, Garlinghouse expressed hope.

Garlinghouse made reference to the plan, which was formalized by President Donald Trump’s executive order in early March, informed Bloomberg’s Sonali Basak. With more than ten applications still outstanding with the SEC from companies like Bitwise and Franklin Templeton, the CEO of Ripple also predicted a surge of XRP ETF approvals in the second half of 2025.
Citing the success of XRP ETPs outside of the US, he also expressed a high level of confidence in ETFs. He further stressed that an IPO for Ripple Labs is not possible.
