Crypto News – The native token of the Fortnite community on Reddit, Bricks (BRICK), has increased by 110% over the last day after falling by more than 80% over the previous two months.

According to CoinMarketCap, Kraken saw the majority of trading volume, with the total amount transacted on all exchanges coming close to $700,000. This is an increase of 962.93% from the previous 24-hour period. Even if it has defied the general cryptocurrency trend, which saw Bitcoin (BTC) fall back below $27,000 on Wednesday, there is currently no clear cause for the price surge.

Interest in Reddit Tokens Soars in August

Bricks, an ERC-20 token distributed to Fortnite subreddit contributors, had a significant rise in popularity in August as interest in other Reddit community tokens like Moons (MOON) from r/cryptocurrency soared. On the other hand, the liquidity levels across all exchanges are still quite low. On Kraken, 2% market depth is equivalent to around $2,500 on both the ask and bid sides.
