This strategic partnership aims to leverage Chainlink VRF for the Planet Generation project, providing an auditable and tamper-proof method for generating random traits for planet development.

The integration of Chainlink VRF into Phantom Galaxies will enhance user experiences by offering a transparent, tamper-proof, and auditable Planet Generation process.

This approach aligns with the goal of providing verifiable assurances that the Planet trait generation process is fair and allows individual audits through RNG (Random Number Generator). However, it’s crucial to note that RNG requires smart contracts to maintain security levels, prevent manipulation, and uphold system integrity.

Phantom Galaxies chose to integrate with Chainlink

After extensive research, Phantom Galaxies chose to integrate with Chainlink VRF due to its unique and powerful features. Chainlink VRF boasts a time-tested Oracle network, cryptographic proofs through an on-chain verification process, state-of-the-art research technology, and most importantly, system integrity through random number verification for smart contracts.

The collaboration will operate by combining block data, which is unknown when the request is made, with the Oracle node’s pre-committed private key to generate a random number and cryptographic proof.

Phantom Galaxies will accept RNG input that comes with valid cryptographic proof, which must be generated through a tamper-proof Verified Random Function. Phantom Galaxies assures users that due to the automated, verifiable, and robust nature of their Planet trait generation, it is fair and unbiased.
