Panic on Binance- Binance Shakes Up Market by Delisting 14 Cryptos
Panic on Binance– Binance has made waves in the crypto world by announcing the delisting of 14 tokens, leading to significant market turmoil and panic selling. The exchange revealed that these tokens, including BADGER, BAL, BETA, CREAM, and others, will be removed from its platform on April 16, 2025, as part of a new initiative aimed at involving the community in the listing and delisting process.
The tokens that are set to be delisted are BADGER, BAL, BETA, CREAM, CTXC, ELF, FIRO, HARD, NULS, PROS, SNT, TROY, UFT, and VIDT. This decision follows a community voting process in which Binance received over 100,000 votes from 24,141 participants. The platform stated that the results were carefully evaluated after filtering ineligible and invalid votes.
Factors Behind Binance’s Decision to Delist
Binance outlined the factors taken into account during the evaluation process, including trading activity, security, regulatory compliance, tokenomics, and team responsiveness. The exchange also considered the overall project structure and community sentiment before making its final decision. Notably, Binance clarified that even tokens that survived this round of voting may still face delisting in the future if they no longer meet the platform’s listing requirements.
Binance users with affected tokens need to act fast. Trading bot services for the delisted tokens will be stopped on April 16, 2025, at 03:00 UTC. Additionally, users should cancel or update their bots to avoid potential losses. After this date, deposits for the delisted tokens will no longer be credited to user accounts, and prices will be removed from accounts as well.
However, users can still withdraw their tokens until June 9, 2025. After this deadline, Binance may convert the delisted tokens into stablecoins, but this is not guaranteed, and users will be informed in advance if it happens.
