About Oath of Peak
Recently, Bybit’s Games platform announced the launch of Oath of Peak, developed by Yeeha Games, with a trailer showing off the gameplay features of the game. The closed beta version of Oath of Peak, Yeeha Games‘ first MMORPG on the Polygon blockchain, has received significant positive feedback. Now, 300,000 (300K) people have registered and are waiting for the game’s launch.
Development of Oath of Peak began in 2018. Since then, over $20 million has been invested in the core gameplay of the project, making it one of the most ambitious game projects in the web3 world today.
Grant Zhang, the game lead for Oath of Peak, said: “We wanted to create a fun experience that we would be proud to play ourselves, as passionate MMORPG players. We chose to implement some blockchain technology as it enabled the game to be more interactive, and feel more immersive.”
Players start Oath of Peak as Spirit Beasts traveling through the Omnispirit Realm, a world full of fantastic creatures like Spirit Beasts. Players who want a slightly higher quality look in the game can pick up powerful Primordial Spirit Beasts (PSB) NFTs.
A total of 10,000 NFTs will be available at launch, of which 5,000 will be in the form of Genesis Kiufeng PSBs and 5,000 in the form of Genesis Huodou. Depending on the type and gender, players can use these PSBs to produce more PSBs or sell them on secondary markets.
