New Crypto Debit Card from Gate.io and Visa
A partnership between Gate Group, the company behind Gate.io, and Visa was recently announced. Gate.io, which has partnered with Visa to offer a new cryptocurrency card service, announced that it is accepting early sign-ups from users in the European Economic Area. The Gate Visa crypto debit card will be introduced by Gate Global UAB, the company’s Lithuanian subsidiary.

With this collaboration, users will now be able to spend their cryptocurrencies at any of the 80 million businesses worldwide that accept Visa. In addition, users will be able to shop with their crypto assets either on the web or in physical stores.
Another innovation that will come with the crypto debit card is the Gate Card mobile app. The Gate Card app will be easy to use and will allow crypto debit card holders to take maximum control of their finances.

Lin Han, founder, and CEO of Gate Group, described the service, which will soon be launched in the European market, as an innovative solution. He added that:
“With the Gate Visa card, our users can make seamless crypto payments to merchants worldwide. It bridges crypto with everyday life and brings greater financial inclusion to users.”
Recently, there have been rumors that Visa would scale back its crypto investments. The company’s head of crypto, Cuy Sheffield, denied these rumors. This action by Visa shows that the president was right. In addition, Cuy Sheffield added the following:

With programs like the Gate Visa debit card, Gate Group debit cardholders are enabled with a seamless way to convert and use their digital assets to pay for goods and services, anywhere Visa is accepted.”
