What is Immortal Game?

Immortal Game is a F2P game that does not require any fees to play, as in the traditional chess game. Immortal Game contains various ways of winning for chess lovers. In the game, you can participate in weekly competitions and tournaments. The game is built on the Ethereum network and you can access the game via mobile or PC.

Game Content

Immortal Game is played according to traditional chess rules, but unlike the traditional chess game, Immortal Game brings a different strategy and difficulty to the game by giving players tasks related to chess pieces. If you want, you can also play the regular chess version. The registration process for the game is quite simple, you can register by connecting your e-mail, Google account or Metamask wallet. The game offers 2 different variants and 5 different gameplay speeds and many tournament options. Each option has certain requirements and conditions. After registering for Immortal Game, you need to determine which of these variant options you want to play in. These options are; Standard Variant and Immortal Variant.

Standard Variant

It is a game mode in which there are no tasks in which you can play the traditional chess game. The Standard Variant does not require any input requirements. You can play online against a random player, against a friend or against the computer.

The Immortal Variant

Immortal Variant: It is a game mode that has been created by bringing a different perspective to traditional chess and you have to perform various tasks while playing. The Immortal Variant requires Immortals or Ageless NFT chess pieces to play, unlike the standard variant.

NFT Chess Pieces

NFT Chess pieces are the pieces that you need to enter the Immortal Variant mode in the game and activate the tasks that distinguish the game from traditional chess. You can buy these NFT chess pieces from the Immortal Game Marketplace or the Immutable X Market. These NFT chess pieces are named Immortals and Ageless.

Immortals

Immortals are buyable and sellable NFTs that represent chess pieces. Immortals are required for entry to the IP Leaderboard tournament, which is held weekly in the game. Immortals are divided into 4 different elements as Marble, Ebony, Ivory, Steel and 4 different purity values as Rough, Polished, Piece of Art Masterpiece. The elements determine the color and shape of the stones. The Purity value determines the proportion of rewards you earn at the end of the tasks given in the game. For example, when a task is performed with Rough Immortal, 90 IP is earned, while with Masterpiece Immortal, 720 IP is earned.

Ageless

Ageless are NFTs that represent chess pieces such as Immortals in the game and that you can get for free. In-game tasks can be done with Ageless NFT chess pieces. Ageless stones do not have elemental and purity levels. Ageless stones are required for the AP Leaderboard.

Leaderboards

Leaderboards are weekly competitions where players rank the points they have earned at the end of the games they have played. Starting from the highest person in the ranking at the end of the week, $CMT, $ETH and NFT prizes are distributed. The leaderboards are divided into 3.

• The Ageless Leaderboard: It is called the AP Leaderboard. You must have an Ageless NFT to take part in the AP Leaderboard. In this tournament, the awards are intermediate.
• The Standard Leaderboard: You don’t need any Immortals or Ageless NFT to get a place in the Standard Leaderboard. It is a chess game in which traditional chess rules apply. Rewards are low.
• The Immortal Leaderboard: It is called the IP Leaderboard. To take part in the Immortal Leaderboard, you must have at least 1 Immortal NFT. It is the competition where the prizes are the highest.

Quests

Tasks are the most fundamental features that distinguish Immortal Game from classical chess. The tasks include Immortal and Ageless NFTs. All tasks are based on different difficulty levels and success rates. Of course, difficult tasks bring higher rewards. These tasks are divided into micro and macro. Micro tasks are directly related to the NFT part. For example, the pawn on E7 cannot move 3 times consecutive. Macro tasks, on the other hand, contain tasks that are directly related to the game. Example; Win the game with less than 20 moves.

If you complete these tasks, you will earn IP or AP points. The points you earn increase your chances of winning a big prize by moving you higher in the Leaderboards mentioned above. Prizes are awarded only when the game is won. In other words, even if you have completed the tasks successfully, the tasks you have done will not be relevant if you lose the game.

Tournaments

Another way to win in the Immortal Game is tournaments. Tournaments are organized according to certain standards. The rewards will differ based on the difficulty level of the tournaments. For detailed information about the tournaments click here.

Rewards and Measures of Cheating

The prizes to be awarded at the end of tournaments and weekly Leaderboard competitions are first subjected to a cheat detection application. Players who are found to be cheating in games are permanently banned from the platform. These cheats;

• Using any chess engine.
• Deliberately losing to another person for the purpose of winning a prize.
• Deliberately canceling games.
• Deliberately losing and lowering your ELO to play against low-ranked players.
• To make account sharing.

CMT Token

The CheckMate token (CMT) is the utility token of Immortal Game. It is used to reward players who deserve to win prizes in the Leaderboard and at the end of tournaments. The CMT token supply is unlimited.
