March 2025 Binance Delistings: Learn About the New “Vote to Delist” Feature

March 2025 Binance Delistings – Binance has announced the delisting of several tokens, including Aergo (AERGO), AirSwap (AST), BurgerCities (BURGER), COMBO (COMBO), and Linear Finance (LINA), effective on March 28, 2025, 03:00 UTC. This move comes after a thorough review process, where Binance evaluates factors such as the commitment of project teams, development activity, and network safety. The delisting applies to all spot trading pairs related to these tokens, which will be removed from the platform.

Review Process and Criteria for Delisting

Binance’s decision-making process involves assessing several metrics, including trading volume, liquidity, and public communication of the projects. The exchange also considers external factors such as regulatory changes and any unethical practices linked to the tokens. Despite the growth in these tokens’ communities, the exchange maintains its focus on providing users with secure and reliable trading environments.

Implications for Affected Tokens and Services

After the delisting, depositing the affected tokens into Binance accounts will no longer be possible after March 29, 2025, 03:00 UTC. Users should note that withdrawals of these tokens will cease by May 27, 2025, 03:00 UTC. Binance will also conduct an automatic settlement of Futures and Margin positions involving these tokens by March 27, 2025, 09:00 UTC.

Binance’s Commitment to User Protection

As part of Binance’s commitment to providing optimal services, the exchange will introduce a Vote to Delist feature following this round of removals. This feature aims to enhance community engagement and offer users a voice in the platform’s decision-making process regarding future token listings.

Final Reminder for Affected Users

Binance strongly advises users holding AERGO, AST, BURGER, COMBO, or LINA to close their positions and transfer assets to their Spot Accounts before the delisting deadlines to avoid potential losses. All relevant services such as Spot Copy Trading, Trading Bots, and Simple Earn will also remove these tokens from March 24-28, 2025.

By implementing these changes, Binance continues to prioritize the protection of its users and adapt to the evolving crypto market landscape.
