The company announced that FTX Japan will restart withdrawal services for fiat and crypto assets at 12:00 pm of local time on February 21.

The declaration meets a guarantee made in December by the trade, whose resources within the nation were generally ring-fenced beneath Japanese law.
The company said in a statement: “Due to the large number of requests from customers, it may take some time for the withdrawal process to be completed. We are very sorry for the concern and inconvenience caused to our customers due to the suspension of our services. We will announce the resumption of other FTX Japan services as soon as possible.”
The Japanese trade shuttered November 8, a couple days before FTX as a entire applied for bankruptcy in the U.S. The Japanese unit, like FTX Europe, has been reserved for an early deal as the estate attempts to recover funds.
