Ether Core Protocol Changes Should Accelerate, Says Crypto VC Firm Paradigm
Crypto venture capital firm Paradigm thinks Ethereum developers might make additional protocol adjustments to adapt to shifting market conditions without affecting the cryptocurrency’s prices.
We think Ethereum’s core protocol could be improving much faster. There are many high-impact improvements that Ethereum can start accelerating towards today without sacrificing its values. Historically, Ethereum has shipped about one change per year. Ethereum can do more.
Paradigm’s blog post
The argument over whether Ethereum should focus on its base layer or layer 2 networks, decentralization or efficiency, and numerous other design choices is alluring, according to Paradigm. However, Paradigm believes that discussions concerning value tradeoffs may be premature and could result in rigidity.
Ethereum has the resources it needs — incredible researchers and engineers eager to build the future. Empowering them with a mandate to move faster, and in parallel, will enable Ethereum to solve problems faster and avoid getting bogged down in premature debates.

Ethereum Testnet Reth Could Be Key to Faster Blockchain Upgrades, Paradigm Suggests
Decentralization, transparency, and maintaining credibility are among Ethereum’s fundamental principles. However, according to Paradigm, the most crucial thing Ethereum can do to advance blockchain innovation and fulfill its ambitious plan is to make additional protocol improvements. It asserted that shipping speed shouldn’t be sacrificed for client diversity advancements, which allowed developers to test out new ideas on the Ethereum testnet Reth.
Moreover, the venture capital firm wants to see improvements in wallet infrastructure to make the user experience easier and for the Ethereum mainnet to grow without changing the block gas limit. Removing the requirement for users to retain their private keys would be one part of that enhancement.
