Yves La Rose, founder and CEO of the EOS Network Foundation announced on Twitter that he would invest $20 million in the EOS EVM and GameFi projects.
EOS Network Ventures to Invest $20M in EOS EVM and GameFi Projects
The EVM project will make its first launch on April 14th. The $20 million in funding is expected to increase participation in the EVM project. Developers can raise large funds from projects developed with EOS EVM.
With this move by EOS Network Ventures, it is possible to say that interest in DeFi, GameFi, and NFTs will be high. Moreover, with its investment in the EVM project, EOS Network Ventures proves that these sectors have very high potential in the future. Yves La Rose said:

EOS EVM
EVM, or Ethereum Virtual Machine, are smart contracts that allow developers to deploy and run dApps created on Ethereum. EOS EVM is a project inspired by the same Ethereum EVM. The EOS team has been working on the project for about 1 year. With the new EVM project, users will be able to create dApps much faster, with high performance and high compatibility.
