In 2022, BNB Chain deployed 2,361 dApps, while 21.2 million NFT transactions took place on the Ethereum network.
DappRadar’s Report
According to a report shared by DappRadar recently, BNB Chain deployed the highest number of decentralized Apps during 2022, with 2,163 dApps. Ethereum, on the other hand, ranked first on the list in terms of NFT transaction amount. The top three in terms of NFT transaction amount of the report published by DappRadar are as follows:
- Ethereum (ETH) was the most traded platform for NFT sales, with 21.2 million transactions.
- WAX (WAXP) was the second most traded platform, with 14.5 million trades.
- Polygon (MATIC) was the third most traded platform, with 13.3 million trades.
On BNB Chain, there were 1 million NFT transactions.
dApp Integrations
Despite a 7% decrease compared to 2021, BNB Chain managed to stay at the top of the list by integrating 2,163 decentralized Apps in 2022. Polygon and Ethereum ranked second and third on the list with over 500 integrations.
According to the published report, except for BNB Chain, Ethereum and TRON, all other networks increased the number of dApp integrations compared to last year.
According to this report, by the end of 2022, BNB Chain’s dominance in dApp integrations is 36.7%. Polygon’s dominance is 12.8%, while Ethereum’s dominance is 11.4%.
On BNB Chain, the dominant decentralized apps category consists of applications that pose a high financial or operational risk. On Polygon and Ethereum, gaming (21%) and NFT (35%) are the most common decentralized App categories, respectively.
NFT Sales
Ethereum-based NFT Sales exceeded 21.2 million in 2022. Compared to last year, NFT transactions on Ethereum increased by 207%.
Following Ethereum, Wax ranked second with 14.5 million transactions, followed by Polygon in third place with 13.3 million transactions. BNB Chain, the leader in decentralized App integrations, ranked last in the list with 1 million NFT transactions.
When compared in terms of annual growth rates, Solana (SOL) and ImmutableX (IMX) have surpassed Ethereum in first and second place, respectively. Despite Ethereum’s 207% growth, the number of transactions on Solana increased by 440% and ImmutableX by 315%.
