Crypto News- Sui Network Introduces DApp,has joined the growing wave of Web3 companies aiming to make it easier for users who often feel overwhelmed when trying to enter the Web3 space. The layer-one blockchain, Sui Network, has taken a significant step toward simplifying the onboarding process into Web3, making it possible for users to access Sui-powered applications without the need to manage an external cryptocurrency wallet or remember a seed phrase.
Sui Network Introduces DApp Access with Google, Twitch, and Facebook Logins
In a press release dated September 13th, the Sui Foundation announced an innovative zkLogin (Zero Knowledge login) feature that would enable users to log into decentralized applications (DApps) using their Google, Facebook, or Twitch login credentials. This approach eliminates the need for users to grapple with the complexities of Web3 wallets, allowing them to log in just as they do on other parts of the internet.
Greg Siourounis, Managing Director of the Sui Foundation, emphasized the significance of this development by stating, ‘By enabling users to access dApps with the social logins they are already familiar with, zkLogin removes a major obstacle in bringing the benefits of blockchain-based applications to billions of mainstream users.’
The onboarding process has historically posed a challenge for the blockchain industry, causing frustration among both new and experienced users due to various usability issues. These issues include the necessity to sign transactions, manage seed phrases, and input long, cryptic strings of information when using certain DApps.
In response to these concerns, Adeniyi Abiodun, co-founder and Chief Product Officer of Mysten Labs, acknowledged the importance of simplifying the onboarding process for users in the blockchain space.
Too many individuals — whose everyday lives would benefit from blockchain technologies — are irretrievably lost at our doorstep, frustrated at installing Web3 wallets and managing seed phrases.

The introduction of the zkLogin feature by the Sui Foundation signifies a significant advancement in providing users with the advantages of blockchain-based applications while maintaining a high level of security and preserving their privacy and ownership.
Zero-knowledge proof technology operates on the principle of enabling one party to verify the accuracy of a specific claim without divulging any additional information beyond the confirmation that the claim is indeed accurate. This cutting-edge cryptographic approach ensures that users can enjoy the benefits of Web3 applications without compromising their personal data or security.
