Crypto News – The Shibarum problem is fixed by the Shiba Inu team. Marketing specialist Lucie told supporters that before transferring the tokens to the dead wallet, they should first bridge them from Shibarium to Ethereum in order to properly burn Shiba Inu (SHIB).

Shiba Inu Team Solves Shibarium Explorer Bug

Shiba Inu’s marketing specialist, Lucie, notified the community of an issue in the ShibariumScan block explorer that caused Bone (BONE) to appear as ETH during transactions, as The Crypto Basic reported yesterday. Blockscout was upgraded recently, and that was the cause of the problem. Lucie reported today that the problem has been resolved.

Lucie explained that the SHIB multi-stage bridging technique could contribute to an inaccurate burn model. According to the SHIB team member, the best method to ensure that the token is taken out of circulation is to transfer SHIB from Ethereum to the dead wallet.

Lucie claims that community members participate in the burning of SHIB collectively. Supporters of Shibarium must bridge the token from the former to the latter since Shibarium is an Ethereum L2 network. After users finish bridging, an equivalent version of the bridged tokens is produced on Shibarium, but the original SHIB is locked in the bridge contract, according to Lucie.

Lucie Made Explanations on the Subject That Everyone Can Understand

Observation shows that when users choose to burn their SHIB on Shibarium, the bridged tokens stay in the bridge contract; they are burning off the minted version. Lucie suggested linking the assets back to Ethereum to ensure appropriate token burning. Sending the SHIB to the dead wallet is possible from this point on.

Given that the locked SHIB on Ethereum cannot be accessed, a community member inquired as to whether this did not also qualify as burning. Lucie Shibarium responded by pointing out that there are usually disagreements from some places about locking the token on the bridge contract rather than in the dead wallet. She made it clear that the purpose of her post was to provide clarification for all parties involved.
