Saga, a Web3 scalability protocol, has experienced rapid growth in its Innovator Program, attracting 224 projects within a year, with a staggering 80% of those projects focusing on games.
Saga Draws 224 Projects in Less Than 12 Months
The Innovator Program provided by offers developers a comprehensive ecosystem of tools and resources, eliminating the need for them to develop their own back-end systems. This achievement has been made possible through strategic partnerships with industry leaders like Celestia Labs, Polygon, and Ava Labs. Notably, the number of projects associated with Saga was just 55 in September 2022.
As previously explained by CEO Rebecca Liao, serves as a Web3 infrastructure protocol that empowers developers to create gaming and entertainment applications with dedicated block space. Dedicated block space ensures high throughput, independence from other Saga applications, easy upgradability, and relief from congestion. By addressing key bottlenecks, aims to propel blockchain technology into the mainstream.
Furthermore, allows developers to utilize any token or currency for their applications while providing predictable gas fees, which are concealed from end users by default. The automated deployment of dedicated block space is secured through interchain security, employing the same set of validators that support the mainnet. Saga’s collaboration with Celestia Labs involves implementing sequencers-as-a-service to enhance the scalability of rollup architecture. Additionally, the partnership with Polygon accelerates the development and adoption of app chains as a prominent scaling solution for Web3.
Saga’s protocol automates the creation of Supernets, Polygon’s appchain solution. Lastly, the collaboration with Ava Labs will result in the release of a software stack that automates the creation of Subnets, Avalanche’s appchain solution.
