A Closer Look at the PancakeSwap’s 2.4M ZK Token Airdrop

PancakeSwap, a multichain decentralized exchange, has introduced a significant community reward scheme (DEX). It is scheduled to start at 10:30 am UTC on July 5 and end at 10:30 am UTC on August 5. Appreciating the community’s continuous support for zkSync, the platform will airdrop 2,452,128 zkSync (ZK) tokens to them. The campaign was launched in response to PancakeSwap surpassing $3 billion in trading volume, $5 million in total value locked (TVL), and more than 1.9 million traders overall.

The airdrop distribution is currently open to veCAKE Holders, Liquidity Providers, Active Traders, Traverse Campaign Participants, zkSync Prediction Users, and zkSync Gauge Voters who meet the eligibility requirements.

Receiving Airdrop Process

The design of the zkSync airdrop rewards vote-escrowed Cake (veCAKE) holders in addition to past and future contributions. The airdrop will be available to active users who have made contributions to the platform through trading, providing liquidity, and taking part in earlier zkSync projects. In order to support the platform’s expansion, future donors that supply liquidity and trade using zkSync PancakeSwap will also receive an airdrop.

• At publication, veCAKE holders and previous contributor user categories are eligible for the airdrop distribution.
• Eligible users must connect their wallet to the PancakeSwap platform webpage and adhere to the pop-up notification instructions in order to claim the ZK tokens.
• Tokens that remain unclaimed will be transferred to the PancakeSwap ecosystem in order to support community projects and further development.
