An enhanced trading platform created for experienced NFT traders, OpenSea Pro, has been launched by OpenSea, a well-known NFT marketplace.
OpenSea Pro Now Available to Professional NFT Traders
The decision was made in response to Blur, a rival zero-fee NFT marketplace rapidly expanding. In order to offer its consumers professional trading capabilities, OpenSea bought Gem v2, an NFT aggregation platform, in April 2022 and rebranded it as OpenSea Pro.
The development was announced with a tweet from the platform’s official Twitter account.
What Does OpenSea Pro Offer to Users?
It will compile listings from 170 marketplaces at no cost, providing the best offers for dealers. The platform will support many features, including:
- Advanced floor sweeping
- Fast sales
- Inventory management
- Gas fee optimization for effective trade
- Watchlist capabilities
Moreover, the platform will also be accessible via mobile devices.
Devin Finzer’s Thoughts on the Platform
The development of the platform into the most effective NFT trading tool available is credited to Gem’s technology by Devin Finzer, CEO of OpenSea. Finzer lauded the platform for its brisk user experience for NFT purchases and real-time capabilities.
The company is restoring 2.5% creator fees on its primary platform with the introduction of the platform. According to Finzer, money received from these fees would be used to improve the NFT industry.
Finzer says that OpenSea will continue to prioritize retail traders and producers by concentrating on partnerships, primary drops, and smart contract standards despite the fact that the platform is being launched amid severe rivalry with Blur.
