Open Campus ID’s Whitelist Set to Commence Its First Phase on September 14
For learners, Open Campus ID empowers them with unprecedented control over the information linked to their OC IDs. They can selectively choose which pieces of data to share, and when they want to share them, including their comprehensive learning profiles.
The inaugural phase of the Open Campus launch is exclusively available to EDU or Genesis NFT (Backpack and Notebook) holders who have been steadfast supporters of the platform since its inception. The first phase offers 1,000 slots on a first-come-first-served basis.
To be eligible for minting, EDU holders must maintain a minimum of 50 EDU in their on-chain wallet. Moreover, Genesis NFT holders, owning either the coveted Golden Backpack or Silver Notebook, are positioned at the forefront to claim their Open Campus ID. The launch date for Phase 1 is set for September 14, 2021, at 10:00 UTC. Eligible participants are encouraged to save this date and time, along with the provided access link.
Registrants will receive a personalized .edu domain of their choice, symbolizing their on-chain educational identity. This innovation now allows educators and students to seamlessly validate their learning credentials or receive funds directly through their .edu address.
