Mattel NFT Will Launch Fast And Furious NFT Collection On Flow
Legendary toy manufacturer Mattel is gearing up to launch the latest edition of its popular Hot Wheels NFT Garage Series on May 22. This release coincides with the highly anticipated premiere of the eighth installment of the Fast & Furious film franchise.
The Hot Wheels NFT Garage x Fast & Furious collection will feature iconic cars from the movies, such as Suki’s Honda S2000 from 2 Fast 2 Furious and Dominic Toretto’s 1970 Dodge Charger from Fast & Furious. These limited-edition NFTs will be hosted on the Flow Blockchain and will be available for purchase at a price of $20 per pack.
NFTs, also known as non-fungible tokens, are unique cryptographic tokens that can be exchanged for digital or real-world assets. They serve as a form of proof of ownership, legitimacy, or membership in a digital format. Each NFT is a one-of-a-kind digital collectible, ensuring its rarity and uniqueness.
With the Fast & Furious drop, Mattel enters the NFT space, following the recent success of their Boss Beauties x Barbie collection. Collectors who acquire the full set of NFTs will have the opportunity to receive a die-cast replica of Suki’s car.
In addition to this collaboration, Mattel and OnChain Studios recently released a set of Star Wars-themed digital collectibles called Cryptoys, in celebration of the unofficial Star Wars holiday on May the 4th. The Flow Blockchain is home to several prominent NFT collections, including Mattel’s Fast & Furious NFTs, Dapper Labs’ UFC Strike NFT platform, the NFL’s NFL All-Day, and the NBA’s Top Shot.
