In an announcement made on Thursday, the Swiss non-profit association revealed the appointment of Romain Carrere, a seasoned tech entrepreneur, as its new CEO. In addition to assuming the CEO role, Carrere will also serve as the General Secretary within the organization.

Carrere’s arrival marks a pivotal moment for Aura as it steers into what is being characterized as a “new phase of growth.” With an impressive track record spanning over 15 years in the tech entrepreneurial landscape, Carrere has been actively advising Web3 startups and luxury brands on their digital strategies and how to harness the power of blockchain to achieve their objectives. His educational background includes a Master’s degree from ESCP Business School and a Bachelor’s degree from Bentley University.
