The team behind Australian-based Kosmos Ventures today announced their new investment vehicle Zero Age Ventures.
Kosmos Ventures Announces New Investment Vehicle Zero Age Ventures
Building on the Kosmos Fund I‘s excellent legacy is the goal of the investment vehicle. Since its inception in 2017, Kosmos has invested a significant amount of seed money in well-known protocols such as Solana, Algorand, Polkadot, and Fantom. By promoting industry innovation and expansion, Zero Age Ventures hopes to carry on this tradition.
The team was aware of blockchain technology’s enormous potential from the very beginning. From 2017 to 2023, the impressive 50x multiple on invested capital can be seen as the result of a long history of profitable investments.
About Zero Age Ventures
In order to promote the innovations and initiatives that will fundamentally alter how we communicate, transact, and establish trust in the digital era, Zero Age Ventures is a promising new investment vehicle. Through the careful consideration of token/product design, governance, community development, and go-to-market strategy, this mission is made achievable.
Zero Age Ventures to Take Control of New Investments
All new investments will be managed under Zero Age Ventures as the group enters the following stage of its expansion. While Kosmos Fund I will continue to assist its current portfolio companies, no new investments will be made under its auspices after a gradual phase-out.
We believe that distributed consensus and the abstraction of trust will unleash the greatest economic potential since the advent of the internet. Our commitment to this vision drives our investment strategies, as we seek to support the technologies and projects that will revolutionize the way we interact, transact, and build trust in the digital era.
Zero Age Ventures’ Team
Fund II to be Transitioned to Zero Age Ventures
The team’s ambition to establish a distinctive brand, increase competition, and carve out a separate identity in the crypto investment space led to the decision to transfer Fund II to Zero Age Ventures.
As early participants, our team has reviewed thousands of deals and invested in 160+ projects over six years. We’ve seen what works and what doesn’t, and we’ve been there to support teams and founders, helping them avoid common pitfalls. Having experienced various market cycles, we recognized the importance of a solid foundation, leading to Kosmos evolving into a registered fund and upholding our commitment to industry growth and innovation.
